About Rockmount
Rockmount is a small rural locality in the Lockyer Valley Region of south-east Queensland, surrounded by some of the state's most productive horticultural land. The district is known for vegetable and grain farming that supplies markets across south-east Queensland. Gatton, the main service town, lies about 25 kilometres to the north-east and provides schools, supermarkets and medical facilities.
