About Egypt
Egypt is a rural locality in the Lockyer Valley of South East Queensland, about 120 km west-south-west of Brisbane, between Flagstone Creek and Mount Whitestone. In 1912 local residents pushed for a school on land offered by John Renton, but the school was never established and the small farming district remains thinly populated.
