About Point Arkwright

Point Arkwright is a small coastal suburb on the Sunshine Coast, situated approximately 17.5 kilometres north of Maroochydore on a headland overlooking the Coral Sea between Coolum Beach and Yaroomba. The suburb takes its name from Sir Richard Arkwright, the English inventor of cotton spinning machinery, and is home to the Luther Heights Youth Camp.
