About Landers Shoot

Landers Shoot is a rural locality in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, approximately 11.6 kilometres west-southwest of Nambour and 102 kilometres north of Brisbane. Named after early pastoralist Edmund Lander who leased the area in 1861, the locality takes its name from the timber chutes used to transport logs down the Blackall Range cliffs to mills below.
