About Booroobin
Booroobin is a rural locality straddling the boundary of the City of Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast Region in Queensland, approximately 12 kilometres south-west of Maleny. The area is defined by its rugged Glass House Mountains foothills landscape, dense subtropical rainforest patches, and rural acreage properties. The name is thought to derive from an Aboriginal expression describing a possum or a tree.
