About Stanmore (Qld)
Stanmore is a rural locality in the City of Moreton Bay, 70 kilometres north of Brisbane. The Stanley River passes through the area and Bellthorpe State Forest occupies part of the north. The locality takes its name from a grazing property established in 1875.
