About Starcke
Starcke is a large coastal locality in the Shire of Cook on the eastern side of Cape York Peninsula, about 156 km north-north-west of Cooktown. Large areas of the locality lie within the Cape Melville, Muundhi, Biniirr, Juunju Daarrba Nhirrpan and Daarrba national parks. The locality takes its name from the Starcke cattle property.
