About Lakefield
Lakefield is a coastal rural locality in the Shire of Cook in far north Queensland. The area encompasses a vast landscape of tropical savannah woodlands and coastal wetlands adjacent to Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park. It is one of the most remote localities in Queensland.
