About Rossville

Rossville is a town and coastal locality in the Shire of Cook, situated about 38 kilometres south of Cooktown in Far North Queensland. The area includes the Hope Islands, named by Lieutenant James Cook in 1770, and the heritage-listed Collingwood Water Race from the gold mining era.
