About Dagmar
Dagmar is a rural locality in the Shire of Douglas in Far North Queensland, almost entirely covered by Daintree National Park. The Daintree River forms its northern boundaries, while the Daintree Range marks its southern edge. The locality takes its name from the Heights of Dagmar, a range named by explorer George Elphinstone Dalrymple during his 1873 expedition.
