About Arriga
Arriga is a rural locality in the Shire of Mareeba, Queensland, Australia, located 17 kilometres west of Mareeba on the Atherton Tablelands. It is home to the Mount Emerald Wind Farm, Queensland's largest wind farm at 180 megawatts, which opened in 2019. The locality also features the Tableland Sugar Mill and extensive sugar cane farming, and is the site of the Lotus Glen Correctional Centre.
