About Albany Creek
Albany Creek is a residential suburb on the south bank of the South Pine River, approximately 17 kilometres northwest of Brisbane CBD. Originally a dairying district established on the river's floodplain, it was developed for suburban housing from the 1960s onward. The suburb is known for its linear parks along the South Pine River and tributary creeks.
