About Bridgeman Downs
Bridgeman Downs is a residential suburb in the northern part of the City of Brisbane, Queensland, about 15 km from the city centre and bordering the City of Moreton Bay to the west. Named after early settler Henry Bridgeman, the area was farmed until the 1950s and developed for housing mostly from the late 1980s, with parks lining Albany Creek and Cabbage Tree Creek.
