About Ningi
Ningi is a town and locality in the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia, located approximately 14 kilometres east of Caboolture and 58 kilometres northeast of Brisbane on the Caboolture-Bribie Island Road. Ningi Creek forms the northern boundary where it enters Pumicestone Passage, and a conservation park protects bushland in the west. The name derives from the Undanbi Aboriginal clan, the Ningi Ningi, meaning "oysters." Attractions include World War II bunkers, an Aboriginal bora ring, and a medieval festival.
