About Bulwer
Bulwer is a coastal town and locality at the north-western end of Moreton Island in the City of Brisbane, Queensland. The name honours the novelist and colonial secretary Edward Bulwer Lytton. The settlement grew around a pilot station relocated from Amity Point in 1848, from which pilots guided ships through Moreton Bay until 1909.
