About Munbura
Munbura is a rural locality in the Mackay Region, approximately 21 kilometres north-west of Sarina and 26 kilometres south-south-west of Mackay. The landscape is dominated by sugarcane cultivation, with Alligator Creek forming the eastern boundary and Bells Creek the northern and western edges. The name is an Aboriginal word meaning poplar gum.
