About Guthalungra

Guthalungra is a rural town and coastal locality in the Whitsunday Region, about 48 kilometres west-north-west of Bowen on the Bruce Highway where it crosses the Elliot River. Its northern boundary fronts the Coral Sea and includes Cape Upstart, a 680-metre headland protected as Cape Upstart National Park, named by Lieutenant James Cook in 1770.
