About Erakala
Erakala is a mixed-use locality in the Mackay Region of Queensland, Australia, located approximately 10 kilometres west of the Mackay CBD. Its name derives from an Aboriginal word meaning "flat". The southern part supports sugarcane farming with cane tramways while the north has rural residential use.
