About Alexandra (Qld)
Alexandra is a rural locality on the western fringe of Mackay in the Mackay Region of Queensland, approximately 11.5 kilometres west-south-west of Mackay CBD. Flat low-lying land bordered by the Pioneer River to the north and Bakers Creek to the south, the Peak Downs Highway passes through and most land is used for sugarcane farming.
