About Conway Beach
Conway Beach is a quiet coastal locality on the southern Whitsunday Coast, at the mouth of the Proserpine River where it meets Repulse Bay. The two-kilometre sandy beach is popular for fishing, crabbing, and kite surfing, with mudcrabs, barramundi, and prawns commonly caught in the area. It provides access to the nearby Conway National Park and serves as a peaceful base away from the busier Airlie Beach tourist strip.
