About Benholme

Benholme is a rural locality in the Mackay Region of Queensland, situated in the fertile Pioneer Valley along Cattle Creek and bounded to the southeast by the Pioneer River. The area is dominated by irrigated sugarcane farming, with a network of cane tramways running through the locality to transport harvested cane to nearby mills. It lies about 43 kilometres west of Mackay CBD and is close to Mirani Weir.
