About Palen Creek
Palen Creek is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region on the New South Wales border, about nine kilometres south-west of Rathdowney. The rugged terrain rises from 90 metres to over 600 metres in the McPherson Range to the south, and parts of Palen State Forest and Mount Barney National Park fall within the locality. The Mount Lindesay Highway runs through the valley floor.
