About Running Creek (Qld)
Running Creek is a large rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region, about 43 kilometres south-south-west of Beaudesert, bounded to the south by the McPherson Range ridgeline which forms the Queensland-New South Wales border. The locality takes its name from Running Creek, a tributary of the Logan River, and features subtropical rainforest margins, steep gullies and fertile creek flats. It is near Lamington National Park.
