About Mount Lindesay (Qld)
Mount Lindesay is a rural locality on the New South Wales border in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, along the Mount Lindesay Highway. The locality is named for the mountain of the same name, a tiered peak in the McPherson Range that is the eroded remnant of lava flows from the Focal Peak shield volcano. The peak lies within Mount Barney National Park and is often covered in cloud and mist.
