About Munruben
Munruben is a rural locality in the City of Logan in south-east Queensland, about 36 kilometres south of Brisbane. Once a rural community, it has been developed into a low-density residential area, with the Logan River running along part of its boundary. The name comes from the grazing property Mun Rubens, and is believed to derive from a Bundjalung word for a local waterhole or lagoon. The locality was officially named in 1991.
