About Park Ridge South

Park Ridge South is a residential locality in the City of Logan, Queensland, located 34.9 kilometres south of the Brisbane central business district. Officially gazetted as a locality on 13 April 1991 and detached from the suburb of Park Ridge, the locality was previously part of Beaudesert Shire until the 2008 Queensland local government amalgamations brought it into Logan City. The Mount Lindesay Highway enters from the north and exits to the south roughly bisecting the locality. Originally a rural community, it is developing into low-density residential with a high homeownership rate of 85 percent. A large linear reserve runs along Chambers Creek headwaters.
