About Chambers Flat
Chambers Flat is a rural locality in the City of Logan, Queensland, located 17 kilometres south-south-west of Logan Central and 39 kilometres south of Brisbane CBD. Bounded to the east and south by the Logan River, the area was settled from the early 1840s and named after John Chambers who took up land in 1848. Formerly in the Shire of Beaudesert, Chambers Flat became part of Logan City in the 2008 amalgamations. King's Christian College Logan Village campus opened in 2020 and the suburb includes Chambers Creek Park and several other reserves.
