About Cornubia

Cornubia is a residential suburb in the City of Logan in south-east Queensland, about 28 kilometres south-east of the Brisbane CBD and adjoining Mount Cotton. The name is the Latin word for Cornwall and comes from a 1920s property, Cornubia Park, which was subdivided for housing from the late 1950s; much of the suburb developed from the early 1980s. Bushland along the Logan River, including the Cornubia Forest koala refuge, covers a large part of the suburb.
