About Browns Plains (Qld)
Browns Plains is a suburb about 30 km south of Brisbane CBD in the City of Logan, historically known for tobacco farming until the 1950s. Bordered by the Mount Lindesay Highway to the west and featuring Scrubby Creek, a tributary of the Logan River, key landmarks include the Grand Plaza Shopping Centre opened in 1994, the Logan West Library, two state schools and numerous parks.
