About Heritage Park

Heritage Park is a residential suburb in the City of Logan, Queensland, located about nine kilometres southwest of Logan Central. Originally part of Browns Plains, the area was once dense bushland first settled by Joseph Shirley and William George. Scrubby Creek forms its northern boundary, with tributary streams hosting linear parks and cycle paths. The name was proposed by a developer in 1988 to reflect the parkland environment and was formally gazetted in 1991. Heritage Park borders the Berrinba Wetlands, a regional biodiversity hub.
