About South Ripley
South Ripley is a rapidly growing suburb of Ipswich in south-east Queensland, part of the Ecco Ripley urban development area, set in the valley of Bundamba Creek. The district's first school, Bundamba Upper State School, opened in 1874 and operated as Ripley State School until 1930, while modern schools opened in 2020 as the suburb grew. The land is in the Yugarabul traditional country.
