About Maroon

Maroon is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region, where the southern end of the Dugandan Range meets the surrounding countryside. The locality contains Mount May and Paddys Peak, with the south and east protected within Mount Barney National Park. The Maroon pastoral property was established in 1843 and subdivided into dairy farms in 1914.
