About Croftby

Croftby is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of south-east Queensland, named after George Bycroft, a selector who took up land there in 1877. The locality lies in the Teviot Brook valley beneath Mount Minto and the higher Mount Moon, and contains the former township of Teviot, which had a state school from 1892 to 1966.
