About Coalfalls

Coalfalls is a suburb of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, located two kilometres north-west of the Ipswich CBD and bounded by the Bremer River. Named after the Blair family's house "Coalfalls", inspired by visible coal seams on the riverbank, the area was subdivided in the late 1840s and features heritage timber Queenslander homes.
