About Sadliers Crossing
Sadliers Crossing is a suburb of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, located two kilometres west of the city centre. Named after Thomas Sadlier, an early landowner, the crossing refers to a shallow ford over the Bremer River. It features a heritage-listed steel-girder railway bridge built in 1902, Blair State School (1917), Thomas Street railway station, and heritage housing precincts along Burnett Street.
