About Woongoolba

Woongoolba is a coastal rural locality in the City of Gold Coast, bounded by the Logan River to the north and Moreton Bay to the north-east. The area is used primarily for sugarcane growing and prawn aquaculture. The Rocky Point Sugar Mill, established in 1878, is one of the oldest privately owned sugar mills in Australia.
