About Jacobs Well
Jacobs Well is a locality at the southern end of Moreton Bay in the City of Gold Coast in Queensland, where the Pimpama River drains into the bay. It is part of the low-lying sugar-growing district on Pimpama Island and is popular with boaters and anglers, with a four-lane boat ramp and a volunteer marine rescue base. The locality's state school, opened in 1920, closed in 1974.
