About Stapylton
Stapylton is a mixed-use locality in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, located 39 kilometres south-east of Brisbane and 6 kilometres east of Beenleigh. Named after surveyor Granville Stapylton who was killed in the area in 1840, it houses quarries, a weather radar station, the Yatala drive-in theatre and the headquarters of Supercars team Dick Johnson Racing.
