About Miami

Miami is a coastal beachside suburb about 8.5 km south of Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, known for its relaxed surf culture, patrolled Miami Beach and the popular Miami Marketta night market. The Nobby Beach dining precinct along the Gold Coast Highway and two small headlands — North Nobby and South Nobby — characterise the area, which sits on flat, low-lying terrain bordered by the Coral Sea to the east and Burleigh Heads to the west. The Miami Surf Life Saving Club is a notable local landmark.
