About Yarranlea

Yarranlea is a rural locality on the Darling Downs in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland. The South Western railway line passes through the locality, which was once served by two railway stations at Murlaggan and Yarranlea. The land is used for crop growing and grazing on native vegetation, and the area was historically home to St Michael's Anglican Church, dedicated in 1891.
