About Springside (Qld)
Springside is a rural locality on the Darling Downs in the Toowoomba Region, approximately 35 kilometres south-west of Toowoomba and 7.5 kilometres north-west of Pittsworth. The landscape is characterised by open cropping and grazing land on the fertile black soil plains of the Downs, with the locality's heritage tracing back to a private slab school built in the 1880s.
