About Kincora
Kincora is a rural locality on the Darling Downs in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, situated about 15 kilometres south-west of Pittsworth. The flat to gently undulating landscape supports grazing and cropping, with the Condamine River system providing water resources for local agriculture. The area was settled in the 1840s as part of the broader Darling Downs pastoral expansion and once supported a state school that operated from 1883 until 1963.
