About St Helens (Toowoomba - Qld)
St Helens is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, located about 55 kilometres west-southwest of Toowoomba and 18 kilometres northwest of Pittsworth on the open Darling Downs plains. Fourteen Mile Creek flows west through the locality, which supports predominantly crop growing with some irrigated agriculture. Named probably after an early pastoral station, the area is part of the Darling Downs, one of Australia's most productive agricultural districts, with nearest services at Brookstead and Pittsworth.
