About Teelba
Teelba is a remote rural locality in the Maranoa Region of western Queensland, situated approximately 300 kilometres west of Toowoomba and around 30 kilometres south-west of Tara. The landscape is defined by its role as a watershed, with Murilla Creek flowing north into the Condamine River drainage basin and Teelba Creek flowing south into the Moonie River system. The area is used for broadacre grazing and cropping on flat, open downs country, offering wide open spaces and a self-reliant rural lifestyle.
