About Glenmorgan
Glenmorgan is a rural town in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, on the Surat Developmental Road between Roma and Dalby. The township grew around a railway station named for Godfrey Morgan, a long-serving Queensland parliamentarian and Railways Secretary, and its streets carry the names of his family. Formerly known as Cobblegun Creek, the locality is used mainly for grazing on native vegetation, and the Erringibba National Park lies in its eastern part.
