About Flinton
Flinton is a rural town in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, situated where the Moonie River flows through open grazing and cropping country. The Ula Ula State Forest lies in its southern part, and the locality is traversed by the Moonie Highway. Flinton is home to the Flinton Race Club, which holds horse-racing events at its local racecourse.
