About Mount Tyson

Mount Tyson is a rural town and locality on the Darling Downs in the Toowoomba Region, located about 41 kilometres west of Toowoomba. Named after the mountain and believed to be named after grazier James Tyson, the town won the national Australian Tidy Town Award in 1991.
