About Maryvale (Southern Downs - Qld)
Maryvale is a rural town on the Darling Downs, about 31 kilometres north-east of Warwick along the Cunningham Highway. Glengallan Creek, a tributary of the Condamine River, flows through the area providing irrigation for terraced crops, and the locality sits near the World Heritage-listed Main Range National Park. The historic Crown Hotel, built in 1912, is a local landmark.
