About Goomburra
Goomburra is a rural town and locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, on the Darling Downs about 26 km north-east of Warwick. It lies in the valley of Dalrymple Creek, which flows from the Great Dividing Range towards Allora and joins the Condamine River as part of the Murray-Darling system. The town is in the south-west of the locality, which rises into mountainous country with the single named peak of Masters Knob.
