About North Branch (Southern Downs - Qld)
North Branch is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, situated approximately 10 kilometres north-east of Maryvale and 38 kilometres north-east of Warwick. The landscape features mountainous terrain with Mount Develin rising to 956 metres and Taylors Peak to 860 metres, and part of the World Heritage-listed Main Range National Park, containing Gondwana Rainforests, extends into the north-east of the locality. The predominant land use is grazing on native vegetation.
